Welcome to the Brookdale Hospital Ultrasound Fellowship! We currently have an ultrasound division consisting of six emergency ultrasound fellowship trained doctors and pride ourselves on strong ultrasound fundamentals as an aspect of care offered in our emergency department. Our emergency medicine program graduated its first residency class in 2018 and our first fellow class in 2023. Want to be at the ground floor of the action? Come check us out!

Our curriculum is geared toward giving you the academic foundations necessary to ace the ABEM FPD exam and gain a proficiency regarding the principles required to run an ultrasound division.

Unique Educational Opportunities:

• Become credentialed in performing resuscitative transesophageal echo.

• Learn the intricacies behind the various aspects of building an ultrasound workflow.

• Gain experience in advanced modalities including nerve blocks, endocavitary ultrasound, advanced echo, and more. Fellows receive free access to resources including Ma & Mateer's Emergency Ultrasound, Edelman Ultrasound Physics, Fox Atlas of Emergency Ultrasound, Emergency and Clinical Ultrasound Board Review, and more.
